There was another spam attack in the recent days, which forced me to disable anonymous reporting and commenting.

Looks like it will stay this way, unless I come up with a good anti-spam solution. Or just an easy way to bulk-delete spam comments. Now it's 3 clicks (and page reloads) per each comment, so it takes ages.

But maybe that is not necessary, because there were almost no (maybe not at all) anonymous reports anyway.

I've installed some filters that I hope will prevent the spam posting. It is now allowed to post maximum one hyperlink in each field (summary, description, etc.) when reporting/editing issues and posting/editing bug notes.

Anonymous users can now report new issues and post bug notes back again.

If you experience problems in posting valid (i.e. containing one or no hyperlinks) reports/notes, please let me know (or alexfont if you don't know my e-mail).

We have upgraded to a new Mantis version, which has a lot of new features that we don't need :D. We hoped the new version would have better tools to fight spam, but it didn't, and we still need to delete spam manually (we still want to keep the anonymous access option).

In addition: e-mail notifications should now be working well.

With the Sacred Carrot website is including this bug tracking system with the intesion not only to track alexfont programs but other fans programs, such as ZinK and OBrasilo ones.
